Usage data: We collect information about content you log, rate, and review, as well as your taste survey responses. This data powers our recommendation engine.

Technical data: We collect standard web analytics data such as browser type, device type, and pages visited. We use PostHog for privacy-friendly analytics and Sentry for error tracking.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide personalized content recommendations
• To compute taste compatibility scores with other users
• To display your public profile and library to other users
• To send notifications you've opted into
• To improve our recommendation algorithms
• To diagnose and fix technical issues

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. Your ratings and reviews may be visible to other users based on your profile visibility settings. We share data only with essential service providers:

• Supabase (database and authentication)
• Vercel (hosting)
• Sentry (error tracking)
• PostHog (analytics)

4. Data Retention & Deletion

You can export all your data at any time from the Settings page. You can delete your account and all associated data permanently from Settings. Account deletion is irreversible.

5. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication sessions. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
